Tomorrow, Oct. 18, iconic, Grammy-winning blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Keb’ Mo’ will release his very first holiday album, Moonlight, Mistletoe & You, via Concord Records, and today we’re premiering one of the records tracks, “Better Everyday.”
As Keb’ explains to Relix, the tune—which pairs some positive-outlook lyrics with sunny horn hits—doesn’t necessarily fit the album’s holiday theme, but works in context anyway: “’Better Everyday’ is not technically a Christmas song, but it follows the themes of the holiday season by sending encouragement and optimism for peace and love. I hope listeners are able to enjoy ‘Better Everyday’ throughout the entire year.”
